Hi, I'm Kiona.

I am the owner and baker for OhtheCakery. Cooking has been a part of my life since I was a kid — from being in the kitchen helping cook to being the “cook” amongst my friends and family. The kitchen is my happy place. It always brings me peace and a sense of accomplishment. If I'm not eating, I can most likely be found in the kitchen. Food is one of my love languages, whether it's feeding people or myself.

Baking started as me trying to destress and share my love with people. I'd bring desserts to work all the time just because, and it felt great to change someone's mood from first bite. That passion kept growing, and I'm a believer in making a career out of what you love — at that point it's no longer work. I love what I do, and I love even more that I can spread my love through baking with so many more people.

One day I hope to use my business in a way that gives back to the community. Sometimes people — especially our youth — just need someone willing to take a chance on them. So when you order from me, it won't just further my business. It will help give back to our youth and communities.
